What this beta is
This is free, invitation-only testing of unfinished study software. Questions, explanations, simulations, local opportunity information, and software behavior may be incorrect or incomplete. Testing is not a verified examination-preparation service and does not establish readiness or guarantee any result. After verifying your email and signing in, you must separately review and accept the User Agreement before accessing study tools. A privacy acknowledgment by itself does not accept that agreement.
Information you provide
We collect your first and last name, email, phone, city, state, ZIP code, and the invitation you redeem. Your password is processed by WordPress and stored as a password hash, not shown to the site owner. We use your email for verification and account recovery. Jim may use your contact details to help with your account or follow up on beta testing. Registration does not enroll you in promotional emails, automated calls, or text marketing. We do not need a street address, date of birth, Social Security number, payment information, identification documents, or confidential exam materials.
Testing activity and feedback
The site stores sign-in and activity times, lesson progress, practice answers and results, vocabulary ratings, game sessions and scores, room participation, help questions, and feedback you submit. Jim and authorized site administrators can review these records, linked to your account and invitation, to identify problems and improve the software. We record the version, wording, time, and account associated with required acknowledgments and agreement acceptance. This beta does not record your screen, microphone, camera, or activity on other websites.
Traffic and interaction measurement
This site also measures visits and use of its pages and study sections, including approximate active time, scroll depth, click positions and control names, referring website domain, campaign tags, broad browser type, and device-size category. A random browser identifier is stored on your device for up to one year; a separate visit identifier expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. These identifiers are stored as site-specific hashes on our server. When you are signed in, measurement can be linked to your account so Jim can understand testing and learning patterns. Clearing browser storage, using a different browser, or blocking measurement affects this information.
Interaction heat maps show aggregate click and scroll patterns. We do not record screen video, typed form text, passwords, invitation-code values, reset or verification links, full referring URLs, or raw IP addresses in these analytics records. We do not send this measurement to a third-party analytics or session-replay platform. Measurement honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals where available. You may also block these measurement scripts without losing study access. Existing study results and essential account/security records still operate.
Traffic and testing records are retained on this site for ongoing analysis and improvement, subject to applicable access or deletion requests and the retention limitations below. Authorized administrators can download these records. Browser and visit counts and active-time figures are estimates, not proof of a person's identity or attention.
Who can see what
Your contact details and individual study history are available to authorized administrators, not other testers. If you join a game room, other members can see your chosen player nickname, score, and progress in that room. Choose a nickname you are comfortable sharing. The beta feedback inbox is visible to authorized administrators; it is not a public forum. Do not include confidential personal information about yourself or anyone else in feedback.
Hosting, cookies, and operational services
The website runs on WordPress hosted by Pressable. Hosting, email-delivery, maintenance, and security providers may process information needed to provide those services, including ordinary technical logs such as IP addresses and requests. Transactional account messages use the site’s email provider, including Mailgun when connected; that provider processes the recipient address, message content, and delivery information. The owner receives a notification with your name, email, and invitation label when you create an account. The site disables Mailgun open and click tracking for these messages. WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and session security. Game sound and volume preferences are saved in your browser on this device. The beta account and study records are stored on this site; this release does not connect them to a recruiting CRM. This release does not use beta registration information for advertising or sell it.
Retention and your choices
You can stop testing at any time and request access, correction, account closure, or deletion by emailing the contact above. We use and retain account and testing records as needed to operate this beta, address reported problems, and provide account support. Agreement records and limited security or dispute records may be retained where legally permitted or required; copies may also remain temporarily in hosting backups. We will explain any applicable retention limitations when responding to a request. These disclosures do not waive your privacy rights or guarantee that software or storage is risk-free.
Invitation and account security
Give your code only to its intended recipient. A code can create one account and is then linked to that account. Unused codes expire after 90 days; Jim can revoke a code or beta access. Use a unique password and do not share your account. If you suspect unauthorized access or receive a verification email you did not request, contact us.
